Investment Director
Eline Blaauboer has worked in the venture capital and private equity sector in both Europe and Africa for the last seven years. Through her experience at Gilde Investment Management, she brings both analytical and investment expertise to the Fund. Eline has gained broad experience with new investments and portfolio management, strategic positioning and marketing, financial analysis, negotiation and structuring of investment rounds, dealflow generation and the training of new business analysts. Since 2003 Eline worked on several projects to encourage entrepreneurship and investing in Small and Medium Enterprises in Africa, and she was actively involved in the start-up of Origins Venture capital Fund for Africa. She moved to Kenya in 2005 and holds a masters degree in business economics from the University of Groningen. Eline is based in Nairobi.

Investment Analyst Nairobi
Sarah Ngamau has developed accounting and analytical skills through her work experience in several accounting positions, amongst them in a large medical supplies company and a reputable accounting/audit agency. Previously Sarah has lectured in Economics and Quantitative methods at Kabete Technical College. As a student Sarah was co-founder of the Business and Economics Student Association (BESA), at the University of Nairobi, being involved in analyzing stock noted companies and investing in the Nairobi Stock Exchange. Sarah graduated from the University of Nairobi with a First Class Honors B. ED (Arts) Accounting Major. Currently Sarah is pursuing the CFA program with Strathmore University. Sarah is based in Nairobi.

Jacco Brink has gained management experience in both the commercial and the development sector. Experience in Russia and Central Asia has enhanced his expertise in management of complex processes in intercultural settings. He is co-founder and director of The Blue Link - Social Ventures Overseas that establishes companies and projects that have both a development as well as a commercial impact in developing countries and emerging markets. The Blue Link currently operates in Kenya through the TBL Mirror Fund, which is under his direct responsibility, and in Pakistan through ProFarm Pakistan. Jacco Brink holds a master degree in economic geography from the University of Amsterdam. Jacco works from both Amsterdam as well as Nairobi.

Siemen Mandema has gained corporate finance and investment experience in both corporate finance advisory and in the private equity sector. His experience at BDO Corporate Finance (his current employer), Greenfield Capital Partners, ABN AMRO Bank Singapore and Kempen & Co has enhanced his expertise in all phases of the investment process (analyzing of companies, drawing up business plans, valuations of companies, negotiations, deal structuring, due diligence, portfolio management & strategy creation). Siemen Mandema holds a master degree in business economics from the University of Groningen. Siemen is based in
Amsterdam.
